Tyler's story could be considered in his eyes as a Greek Comedy. Truth be told, throughout the day Tyler enjoys a roller-coaster ride of emotions. Early in camp he was struggling with the social aspect of camp. He conveyed his troubles very persistently. Finally, we squashed that problem with an intervention with the entire Lil' Wheezys. Since then Tyler has flourished. However, now with this new sense of self-confidence he is starting to exclude others. What are some good techniques to use to stop his shenanigans?

I have a few ideas (as usual) I will share them either at supervision or send you all an email. You really do have two of the most challenging campers and even though you have some rich experience, these kids have had 10-12 years of experience behaving the way they do. It never ceases to amaze how the resolution of one problem can often lead to another one or two or more...such is life I suppose. Thanks for taking on these two. I have no doubt that your patience, calm demeanor in the face of their challenging behavior begins to give them a different picture of the way men behave when challenged. I also have no doubt that they really look up to you. It's a bit awesome to think that they are beginning to create an internal image of who they are and you are contributing to that image. Hang in there!
